A Self-Adhesive range of tape, utilizing a PVC or PE carrier, with a Bituminous-Rubber compound offering absolute protection, to the steel, in one single layer. Pollycote can be hand or machine applied. The total tape thickness in the Pollycote range is from 0.5mm (20Mils) to 1.65mm (65Mils) which can be used on the smallest to the largest diameter pipes, utilizing from one inch overlap to 55% overlap (Double-Wrap) and further over-wraps and Rockshields if extra mechanical protection is needed. Pollycote tapes are available in widths of 2, 4, 6, 9 and 12 inches, and lengths of 30ft., 15 metres, 30 metres, and sixty metres.

Pollycote-101 Total thickness 1mm - PE carrier. (Cross Laminated) high shear strength. Small and medium diameter pipes where medium mechanical strength is required. Very stable in hot climates. |

Pollycote-1000 Total thickness 1.5mm - PVC carrier. Large diameter pipes, and/or aggressive backfill where high mechanical performance is required. |
Pollycote-500 Total thickness 1mm - PVC carrier. Medium and large diameter pipes. |

Pollycote-1550 Total thickness 1.65mm - PVC carrier. The PVC backing has a very high resistance to impact damage and penetration. This tape is used where large diameter pipe is to be factory wrapped and transported to the installation site. |
Pollycote-15AG A medium to heavy duty pipeline anti-corrosion tape designed to provide protection for above and below ground applications with a reflective aluminum coloured finish for solar reflection. |
| Pollycote-HTD Where high temperatures prevail (not continuously) such as with offshore pipelines joint protection, where hot bitumen is then poured onto the joint. |
Pollycote
Primer A quick drying ready to use bituminous primer suitable for use as a primer for surface preparation prior to application of self adhesive wrapping tapes. Pollycote primer can also be used as a primer or paint for over ground applications where corrosion is not extreme or service critical. |

Pollycote and Politt primers are specially formulated for use with the Pollycote and Politt range of tapes and no other primers should be used.
Note: Pollycote is compatible with all known coatings, and is an excellent repair material for any coating.
